The book opens with an introduction giving an overview of the current cultural situation of Brazil: why it is such an exciting time for the country and what the future holds. Each of the disciplines listed above has its own chapter with a 3,000-4,000 word introduction written by an expert in that particular field. This is followed by up to 10 case studies of the main artists/designers/practices chefs currently active in that discipline, accompanied by images of their work and a short text of around 300 words to describe what is peculiar and interesting about them.
