Elizabeth Baguley studied English Literature, before going on to train as a teacher. Elizabeth's books for Little Tiger Press include Meggie Moon, which won the Swiss Labelle Prize 2008 and A Long Way From Home, which was shortlisted for the UKLA Children's Book Award in the Picturebook category. Award-winning author Caroline Pitcher studied English and European Literature and went on to work as a primary school teacher for over twelve years. She is now a full-time author and has written picture books and children's novels, as well as short stories. Caroline now lives in Derby with her family and often visits schools, libraries and bookshops in the area to talk to children about her writing. Lucy Courtenay worked in publishing for many years before leaving to become a full-time writer. She has contributed to a number of young fiction series, including Beast Quest. When not writing, she enjoys singing, reading and travel. Holly Webb is one of Britain's best-loved children's writers. She has written over a hundred books for children and her work has been translated into over thirty languages.
