Within the complex, multi-partnered world of general building construction, the concept of "integrated project process" is aimed at involving all players in a typical construction project in all aspects of the project from inception through design through construction and on through post-occupancy. It brings to bear the tools of TQM and Project Management, along with team approaches to construction like "Partnering." The title "New Way to Build" refers to the complete integration of all of these management tools so as to achieve significant savings in time and money and still maintain top quality in building design.
