Katherin A. Rogers presents a theory of free will based on the thought of Anselm of Canterbury. She defends and develops Anselm's original theory by addressing a series of problems levelled against libertarianism, and argues that Anselmian Libertarianism is a new and plausible approach in the on-going debate over human freedom and responsibility. This will very likely help structure the ongoing discussion and promote future progress towards the goal of deepening our understanding of the medieval debate on free will and its importance in relation to contemporary issues in metaphysics.
