She curled up in my arms and cries, letting her hard exterior go.
"Please go away," she begs quietly.
"I'm not going anywhere." I grab the blankets from o! her bed and
wrapping her in them.
She just nods and squeezes my arm tightly. "I'm taking this stupid
thing off," I say angrily as I tear the silver bracelet from her wrist. It
burned me as I hurled it at the adjacent wall. She just nods and rests
against my chest.
