It's 1974. Deputy Barlow Adams is on patrol in Quayle County, Texas, late at night. He initiates a traffic stop on a speeding truck. It screeches to a halt, and both occupants bail out, flourishing firearms. A gunfight ensues. One is killed and the other is wounded. A search of the truck reveals 60 kilograms of high-quality marijuana known as Oaxacan Highland Gold, or OHG for short. This leads to Deputies Slick Oldman and Barlow Adams being temporarily assigned to a DEA Task Force in El Paso. The stakes are high and the drug smugglers are deadly.
