Eva Wong Nava combines degrees in English Literature and Art History, and writes stories that explore identity, culture, and belonging. Eva has done many things in life but writing remains her favourite thing to do. She has written an award-winning middle-grade novel and several picture books including I Love Lunar New Year, illustrated by Li Xin, and Dancing Dumplings for my One and Only, illustrated by Natelle Quek. Eva has been a speaker at the Asian Festival of Children's Content on writing about diversity and representing marginalised voices. A passionate collector and reader of picture books, she teaches the art of picture book writing at Picture Book Matters. Jason Chuang is an award-winning illustrator who grew up in Taiwan and moved to the UK at 15. With an MA in Visual Communication from the Royal College of Art, his work blends traditional East Asian art with surrealism, his emotionally charged work often stems from the unconscious and dream worlds. Jason is passionate about storytelling, especially in mystery and sci-fi genres, revealing alternative realities that feel closer to the truth. He has worked with Walker Books, Harper Collins, Bloomsbury and SelfMadeHero. |
